** If you contribute during events in March and April, your gifts will go even further in the Feinstein Challenge, a $1 million giveaway for anti-hunger organizations! Gifts contributed to the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank between March 1st and April 30th will be compared to the total dollars raised by Food Banks participating in the Challenge, nationally. Our total will determine how much of the $1 million Feinstein giveaway we receive. The more you give, the more your gift will increase in value when matched. Be sure to add “For the Feinstein Challenge” on the memo line of your check so it can be counted.
Stamp Out Hunger • May 10
Mail carriers across the nation collectively provide millions of meals to families in need through this annual food drive. You can stamp out hunger in the Blue Ridge area by leaving non-perishable food donations at your doorstep on Saturday, May 10. Check out our list of most needed foods before filling your bag!
Augusta Expo Monthly Market & Yard Sale
While hosting their Monthly Market and Yard Sale, Augusta Expo is helping the hungry, too.
The event occurs on the first Saturday of each month. Admission is $1 or non-perishable food donations for the Food Bank. For every dollar you give, you will provide four meals to neighbors in need. For more info, visit www.augustaexpo.com.
