MARCH - APRIL**
2nd Annual Canstruction Lynchburg • March 30 - April 6
Lynchburg businesses will come together to build artistic “canstructures” in an effort to raise awareness of hunger in the Lynchburg area and provide food to neighbors in need. Teams will produce creative and unique artwork sculptures using canned food in a build competition on March 29. Once the canstructures are complete, they will remain on display March 30 through April 6. Check out last year's structures here!
Canstructures will be located at various venues throughout downtown Lynchburg, and there will also be a host of local non-profit organizations at each venue to provide additional information about hunger-relief efforts in Lynchburg. This year’s theme is “Superheroes: Defeating Hunger One Can at a Time”.
