Our Programs

Outreach

Through the Food Bank’s outreach programs, food is carried directly from our center to the people who need it most. In all, we operate six outreach programs: Four focus on children and two others focus on families and seniors. All of our children’s programs are privately funded, making the support of the community vital to their success.

For Children

Our children must be well-fed and focused to succeed.
Last year we provided nourishing snacks and meals to more than 7,500 children.Read more

For Families and Seniors

Local families are surviving thanks to our programs that provide healthy food preparation training and life skills and homebound seniors and disabled persons are receiving boxes full of sustaining meals each month.

SNAP Outreach

To ensure our clients are food secure, we work with the Department of Social Services to aid the hungry in the Food Stamp application process.
