“Make Every Rep Count” (MERC) uses the forum of competitive weightlifting to raise funds and generate awareness for the deserving organizations. In annual events over the past nine years, competitors have raised more than $83,000 for charity – given generously by local businesses, private donors, and the athletes themselves.
