Turkey Tee Off

The Club at Glenmore is delighted to announce its first-ever Turkey Tee Off, a community golf event supporting the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank. The event offers area golfers a unique opportunity to play Glenmore’s exclusive, private golf course Monday, November 10th at 11am while helping ensure families in Central Virginia can enjoy a family-sized turkey at their Thanksgiving table this year.
Golfers are invited to bring a 15+ pound frozen turkey to the Food Bank collection area at the Club at Glenmore to enjoy 18 holes with cart for just $45. Players without a turkey donation may play for $90. Complimentary chili and cornbread will be provided following the round.

“We’re thrilled to open our course for this special event,” said the Club at Glenmore’s Head Golf Professional, Tim Dale. “Every turkey donated represents a family able to share a holiday meal, and we’re honored to partner with the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank to make that possible.”

The Blue Ridge Area Food Bank highlighted the importance of partnerships like this in addressing food insecurity. “This donation will help fill critical gaps and ensure families have food on the table,” said Livia Marrs, Blue Ridge Area Food Bank volunteer and food drive manager. “We depend on community support—from individuals and churches to civic groups, small businesses, and yes, even golf courses. We’re deeply grateful for the generosity this event inspires.”
