Get ready for an evening of magic from Shenandoah Cabaret! 21 new songs from this amazing group of singer/actors and their outstanding piano accompanist – – PLUS special guest instrumentalists on bass, percussion, cello and guitar. The group showcases musical theater both classic and contemporary from composers like Stephen Sondheim, Jonathan Larson, and Jason Robert Brown. In this concert, they also interpret the music of Crosby, Stills, and Nash, Duke Ellington, Sweet Honey in the Rock, and Alanis Morrisette. ShenCab reinvents old favorites afresh and introduces audiences to compelling and underperformed songs with “an exciting range of styles, personalities, voices, tempos, and emotional hues.” With all ticket sales directly benefiting the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank as part of BRCC’s Hunger Symposium programming, grab your friends and family for a night of fresh, crisp renditions of songs from the stage and other singer/songwriters. If you’ve heard a ShenCab concert, you HAVEN”T heard this one! To learn more about this dynamic ensemble, visit https://www.shenandoahcabaret.com.
