We are your community food bank.

What began in 1981 in a small Staunton warehouse has become the largest hunger relief organization in central and western Virginia.

With more than 400 pantry and program partners spanning our 25 county and 8 city service area, we’re dedicated to making sure that everyone in the Blue Ridge has enough to eat.

"I think it’s very important that the community wrap around their citizens and help everyone grow to be successful. The thing is, it doesn’t take a lot to help someone else. I am blessed that we have the Food Bank’s support, and I tell people every dollar matters."

— Valencia, leader of Good Samaritan, a partner pantry
