School Break Box Program

Long breaks from school such as winter break or summer months are often challenging for children who access school breakfast and lunch programs. Many families struggle to provide enough food to make up for the loss of school meals.

The School Break Box program provides free food items to children over school breaks (winter break, spring break, and summer break) when students don’t have access to school meals.

By supplying prepacked, shelf-stable items to community partners and school districts, we help families with children access food before and during school breaks. Depending on their capacity, some partners are also able to provide fresh produce.
