About this event

Justin Trawick and The Common Good (www.justintrawick.com) is based in DC and tours around the Mid Atlantic. The band consists of acoustic guitar, fiddle, mandolin, and upright bass and performs original music as well as reimagined pop covers done in an Americana/roots/bluegrass style. They are often booked not only because of their music but because they are fun and engaging with the audience, often being funny and lighthearted between songs. Since 2017 the band has sold out Pearl Street Warehouse in DC five times (250 tickets) and plays regularly at the 930 Club, Kennedy Center, State Theater, Birchmere, Jammin Java, and IOTA. They often play on the road around the mid-Atlantic in clubs, festivals, weddings, and private and public events. In January of 2018, they released their debut album that was covered by The Washington Post.

Since Covid-19, they have been successfully live streaming with help from Lauren LeMunyan and Mike Scoglio. Early on they decided to treat live streaming more like a tv show than a concert which made them a ton of fans, going from 7k Facebook followers to 14k in just a few months. “The Justin and Lauren Show” and “The Justin and Mike Show” have been covered by CNN, The Washington Post, Washingtonian Magazine, Al Jazeera, and Reuters.
