Spring Hill and Hold My Hand For Life offer a new twist on a local event: the Spring “Thank You” Fling. This year’s drive-through event is complete with all the sights and sounds of spring–within the comfort and safety of your own vehicle.
Spring “Thank You” Fling is a THANK YOU to all our community helpers who served our area over the past year- our medical teams, fire and rescue, teachers, and many other community servants. Several community agencies are bringing their vehicles (who doesn’t love a fire truck?) and guests will be able to drive in and shout a thank you and enjoy the entertainment, decorated trunks, and free hot dogs. You even drive home with an Easter goodie bag with everything for an at-home Easter Egg hunt, books, info about Easter services at SHBC, and donations from community businesses. Rain around the day of the event will move us to the rain date April 3rd 1-3:30 PM
Costumes are encouraged! Dress up as your favorite community helper or as YOURSELF- kids are heroes too! Upload your car selfies with the tag #ThankYouFling or #SHBCDriveThru and Spring Hill will make a donation to Blue Ridge Area Food Bank and Feeding Greene for every photo posted on social media with those hashtags!
