The Charlottesville Radio Group and their sponsors are partnering with the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank (BRAFB) to help feed our neighbors.

The Food Bank supports 203 pantries across more than two dozen counties and eight cities in and around central Virginia. The Thomas Jefferson Area Branch in Charlottesville serves approximately 22,860 people each month. Since the start of the pandemic, more than 30,000 unemployment insurance claims have been filed in the Charlottesville area, contributing to an increased demand for food assistance. Of all visitors to the Food Bank and its partner pantries in June, more than 21% had never sought food assistance before.

The need is not expected to drop off for months.

Here is how you can help:

Please consider making a monetary donation to the Food Bank. Every gift matters – especially now.
Every $1 you donate can help provide enough food for 4 meals.

The partnership of our community is a gift that lifts us all. We are so grateful for your support of the Food Bank in these critical times. Like you, we believe community matters, and that everyone should have enough to eat.

Thank you to our friends for making this possible:
